GenNext Hosts TimeDrive Marketplace

On May 3, 2017 – GenNext Kelowna held TimeDrive Marketplace, an opportunity for young professionals to mix, mingle and volunteer with local non-profit agencies. By bidding their time, they commit to volunteer hours in a variety of positions at the agency of their choice. This year, 11 non-profits were present to accept bids. As guests mingled, they were able to sip on Sandhill Wine or a signature Okanagan Spirits cocktail, listen to the sounds of Wild Sons front man Kieran McCaffrey, and nibble on yummy appies while gathering first-hand knowledge of these charities and their work.

This was a social with a conscience and a unique twist for a volunteer fair. Volunteers will carry out their time in the next year. We thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this year’s event!
