GenNext



Who? GenNext is a group of young adults their 20s and 30s who want to make a difference in the Okanagan community in alignment with the United Way's mission and values.

Our Mission: “To promote and engage the next generation of leaders to utilize their talents and strengthen our community.”



What and How?

-Encouraging young adults in the Okanagan to become involved in their community through giving and volunteering
-Raising awareness and supporting the United Way and its partners through fundraising events.
-Enhancing community spirit.
-Providing opportunities for people to connect and give back to their community.
-Facilitate and encourage leadership as well as new and innovative approaches to raising United Way awareness and volunteerism in the Okanagan.
