Community Priorities:
The United Way is a community impact organization. All funds raised are invested locally into the following areas of impact:
- Supporting programs for the development of children 0-6 years of age.
- Supporting youth and families.
- Supporting people living with health conditions and disabilities.
- Supporting people living with poverty and abuse.
- Helping seniors to be healthy and connected and assisting those facing end-of-life issues.
Research is on-going as we strive to work with local individuals, groups and communities to strengthen their assets, qualities and characteristics so that they can respond to present and future challenges and opportunities.
