Live United Youth Project Grants
Our new Live United Youth Project Grants are generously sponsored by Telus, and will provide grants of up to $1200 in one-time funding for youth-led social projects that:
-
promote youth involvement and leadership
-
create positive and lasting local community impact
A total of $10,000 is available during the 2010-2011 school year for projects taking place in the Central Okanagan (the region from Peachland to Oyama).
By working in partnership with a sponsor organization, teams of young people (ages 14-23) can create the kind of community they want to live in, while learning and developing their leadership skills. A team can be made up of a class, a club or youth group, or even just a group of friends!
We all have have the power to create positive impact. You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.
Project Grant applications and Guidelines will be available in September 2010!
