Workplace Campaigns

Nearly 100 workplace campaigns in the Central & South Okanagan/Similkameen support United Way each year. In 2009, funds raised by workplace campaigns represented approximately 60% of the $1.3 million raised for our communities. Partnering with United Way, organizations give their employees the opportunity to create lasting change in the community. Corporate gift

A gift to United Way shows your employees, stakeholders and public your commitment to our community. Your effort to match employee contributions creates double the impact, and provides an extra incentive for employees to participate.

Employee campaign

Staff and volunteers from United Way will work closely with your team to create a tailored campaign that meets your specific needs. Orientation sessions and a number of tools are available at no cost to your organization to help your campaign succeed.

Leadership Program

With an annual pledge of $1000 or more through payroll deductions, cash or credit card, the Leadership Program enhances the employee campaign.

Loaned Representative program

Each year, community-minded organizations loan their employees to United Way for 16 weeks. Loaned representatives are an integral part of workplace campaigns and have an opportunity to profile their organizations in the community.
