July 22, 2017 (Kelowna, BC) – United Way CSO would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated and contributed at the United Way Dunk Tank at the Downtown Kelowna Association Block Party. The Dunk Tank took place on July 22, 2017 from 10am to 4pm on Bernard Avenue in Downtown Kelowna.

Together we raised $1600! This is a huge win for our community. United Way strives to achieve meaningful, long-term improvements to the quality of life in our communities. It was a great opportunity to dunk a local community leader/celebrity with all proceeds going towards improving lives and building a healthy, strong community..

Our fantastic ‘dunkee’s included:

  • Brent Mundle – Superintendent of Kelowna RCMP Detachment
  • Tom Dyas – President of TD Benefits and Board Chair of Kelowna Chamber of Commerce
  • Jeremy Lugowy – Community Engagement Coordinator at United Way
  • Brian Stephenson – Lawyer at Pushor Mitchell
  • Norm Letnick – Kelowna-Lake Country MLA
  • Gail Given – Kelowna City Councillor
