September 21, 2018 – WOW! What can we say!? A massive thank you to all of you – our amazing corporate sponsors, donors, volunteers and media partners who turned out with Local Love by the bucket full for the 7th Annual United Way Drive Thru Breakfast yesterday at the Penticton Lakeside Resort!
Without you the Drive Thru just wouldn’t happen. It is truly a team effort! Dozens of volunteers helped pack the bags the night before and another 30+ helped make the Drive Thru experience truly rewarding for guests who were lined up for sometimes 10 to 20 deep.
We raised an incredible $21,000 in cash donations, with thousands more gifted in grand prizes and in-kind donations. All of this money goes back into the local community – helping the most vulnerable people. You should all be so proud and we are truly grateful.
A special shout out goes to the fabulous team at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Month’s of planning and preparation goes into making the event a success and we are so grateful for your support.
Thanks to our Bag, Print, Media, and Gold sponsors for the cash and in-kind donations that truly put us over the top:
