Workplace Campaign Spotlight – TD Bank Group

TD Bank was one of the top five United Way CSO Workplace Campaigns in 2016 raising a total of $50,522 throughout our region! They have coordinated a United Way Workplace Campaign locally since 2007 and have raised a combined total of $240,000 throughout the region. Both corporate and employees pride themselves in supporting their communities’ needs.

TD Bank not only runs a workplace campaign but also supports the United Way through event sponsorships such as the South Okanagan Appreciation Celebration in the South Okanagan.

TD Bank is an organization whose overall philanthropic priorities and corporate social responsibilities include supporting and strengthening their local communities, creating opportunities for young people, collaboration with community groups on environmental issues and supporting financial literacy and education.  They encourage their employees to be involved in their communities not just through their workplace campaign but through volunteering at a Pushor Mitchell United Way  Day of Caring.   This past June saw TD Bank Employees volunteering and working hard at Arion Therapeutic Farms.  By participating, they increased Arion Farm’s capacity to help those in need. Many of the jobs they completed would go unfinished due to high costs. This was a great example of community heroes changing lives locally!

United Way CSO would like to thank TD Bank and staff for their continued support as it is greatly appreciated by all! TD Bank’s workplace campaign donations, corporate and sponsorship support help ensure United Way CSO is able to target investments where they are most needed in the region’s communities.  Thank you for the positive impact to your community!
